Erin approaches therapy from an attachment perspective – everyone is born longing for connection, love, safety and acceptance. However, sometimes the coping methods we utilize work against us in the long run. By helping clients identify patterns in past/current relationships they can establish goals for healing, growth and enhanced authenticity.
Utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Erin enjoys helping couples deepen their emotional bonds while transforming conflict into connection and understanding. Create new patterns in your relationship with yourself and others to build compassion, engagement and increased satisfaction throughout your life.
Mindful Self Compassion, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) also influences Erin’s work with individual (16+) and couples. These approaches can help address a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, addiction, etc. as well as parenting issues, relationship dynamics, people pleasing, perfectionism and more.
